Sir,
I have one season data of water and nutrient distribution in soil. Can I use first half data for model calibration and second half data for validation? Please guide me and if it can be done then please tell me reference of the paper if any.
Thanks

Re: Regarding use of season data
It is quite common to use the first part of the season (let's say a month) for model calibration and the remainder for model validation. You can find many examples on https://www.pc-progress.com/en/Default. ... references and http://www.pc-progress.com/en/Default.a ... references. Two examples, I have been involved in recently:
