Capillary rise model

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are having great time!

I have one question regarding capillary rise model in HYDRUS 1D.

Currently, I am working on soil column experiment. At first stage of the experiment, I set up the groundwater level constant for the soil column to allow the water rise up along the soil column because of the capillary force, until "steady state" (There is no precipitation or other external water added to the soil column). During that time, I will measure the water content change along the depth of column.

Can anyone show/help me how to model that problem in HYDRUS 1D please?

This is a very simple problem to simulate. I think you should try to do the HYDRUS-1D tutorials, which are posted at the HYDRUS-1D website to understand how the model works. You should have no problem to simulate your experiment after that. J.
