How does Hydrus calculate Fitted flux in inverse solution?

How does Hydrus calculate Fitted flux in inverse solution?

Hi,
How does Hydrus calculate Fitted flux in inverse solution? I can see all the flux values at each time and space in Hydrus 1D. However, I don't exactly know how Hydrus calculates the Fitted cumulative flux values from the space-time flux values?

Only boundary fluxes (top and/or bottom fluxes) can be included in the objective function of the inverse solution. These are calculated by integrating actual (top and/or bottom) fluxes over time. J.
