HYDRUS Simulation 5.2 - Flux Infiltration

Hello Jirka,
Happy New Year and compliments of the season
In explaining the above example (page 199) you stated;
-The initial equilibrium distribution of pressure heads is apparent
- The movement of a wetting front down the profile is also apparent with the front reaching a depth of about 80cm at the end of the simulation.
:?: Which of the graphical relations in the post processing is explaining these sentences? Please can you throw more light on the above sentences I do not seem to follow.

Jekwu,

In the post-processing part of the HYDRUS software (the right-hand side), click on the command “Profile Information”. This should give you the graph that is displayed in Figure 5.13 (Pages 199-201). Initial equilibrium pressure head distribution is the T0 line (straight line from the top left corner of the graph to the bottom right corner; the pressure head decreases from -250 cmat the top to zero at the bottom). The movement of the wetting front is reflected by T1, T2, and T3 lines.
