Hello,
I'm trying to run RETC with retention data as input to obtain all the hydraulic soil properties.
But when I look in the output file, I it's written that i dont want to fit Ks (0 in place of 1) so I don't get this value.
Does someone has an explication ?

If you have only retention data then you can fit only retention parameters (alpha, n, Theta_r and Theta_s). To be able to fit Ks, you would need also conductivity data. If you do not have conductivity data, the code will simply calculate the hydraulic conductivity function for specified Ks and selected pore-size distribution model (e.g., Mualem). J.
