number of retention data

Post by mariettelahaye » Wed Apr 06, 2016 3:07 am

Hello,
I would like to find the hydraulic properties of my soil layer thanks to the retention data I get from the TDR in my soil. I input the 1715 data I have but when I want to look the output file, it says that ' Number of observation data points is larger than allowed dimensions in RETC'.
How much data can I input to have results ?
Thanks in advance,
ML.

The RETC code has various vectors dimensioned at 1000. Thus you can have at most 1000 data points. If you specify larger number than that, you get the message that you got. J.

Thank you for your answer.
So I have tried with 1000 input data but I can't get the hydraulic properties of the soil because ' File is too big to display entirely !'
I can only read the first 475 data.
Is it possible to have the result from another manner or do I have to reduce my number of input data below 475 ?

I do not have more to add. I can see in the code that the limit is 1000. J.
