Predict unsat hydraulic conductivity from fitting paraters

I would like to suggest an alternative method for the prediction of the unsaturated hydraulic conductivity.
The detail of the theory can be found from the paper from Zhai and Rahardjo (2015) as follows:
Zhai Q, Rahardjo H. (2015) “Estimation of permeability function from the Soil-Water Characteristic Curve” Engineering Geology 199: 148-156.

Attached with excel file which was created based on this paper.
If we key in the fitting parameters and referenced hydraulic conductivity, then permeability function can be generated.

I have tried to develop my own one but I cannot seem to get it right.
