Hi,
Is it possible to obtain a measure of the pore size distribution using RETC or Hydrus, and if so how would I go about this?
Many thanks,
Sara
Pore size distribution
Re: Pore size distribution
Sara,
You do not need RETC or HYDRUS to get you a pore size distribution. Such information is directly in the retention curve, since the pressure head corresponds to a certain pore size (radius). Larger pores are empty and smaller pores are full (of water). You can find this information in most Soil Physics textbooks.
I’m currently hiking in Sierra and thus do not have my books currently available.
