The HP1 code incorporates modules simulating
(1) transient water flow in variably-saturated media,
(2) transport of multiple components, and
(3) mixed equilibrium/kinetic geochemical reactions.

Is there any way to get the obs_node.out txt files to show the name of the solute ie. Ca,Mg etc.. above the corresponding columns? In the post-processing window i have seen that i can manually go in and change column names in the observation nodes window, is there a more elegant solution?

Thanks

So if I understand correctly the concentrations in obs_nod.out are listed in the order that I entered in preprocessing from left to right in the text file?

Thanks

That's correct. For each node, there are first pressure head, water contents, and temperatures (or fluxes), and then solutes in the order they are listed. This info is then repeated for each observation node.
