phreeqc input file import problem

The HP1 code incorporates modules simulating
(1) transient water flow in variably-saturated media,
(2) transport of multiple components, and
(3) mixed equilibrium/kinetic geochemical reactions.

phreeqc input file import problem

Post by amanda linqing » Tue May 12, 2009 12:52 am

hello,
I use HP1 to simulate the transport of elements Zn, Cd and use Phreeqc Interactive 2.15.0 to produce the input file, but I dont know how to import the phreeqci input file into hydrus_1d. I try to put the input file in the hydrus_1d folder as phreeqc in file then run, however I can't get the post-processing results.

thanks

Amanda,

You need to first create a HYDRUS project, in which you select HP1 as a solute transport option. Then you need to copy your PHREEQC.in file into the project folder. You should try some of our tutorials to see how to do that. We provide a lot of information on the HYDRUS and HP1 websites.
