Cannot run Mayer (2015) HP1 benchmarks with available versions

Hello.
I was pleased to find the Mayer (2015) paper in Computational Geosciences comparing pyrite oxidation scenarios using HP1 and three other codes as I seek simple examples of waste rock leaching for stakeholders involved in a mine closure. I was even more pleased to find the supplementary materials included the model files.

While I am a longtime user of HYDRUS-1D and 2D, I had not run HP1 before. Alas, I can get the example HP1 models to run but not the three benchmark problems using Hydrus-1D version 4.17.0140. HP1 flags the BLOCKDATA section in the PHREEQC.IN files (see output fragment below).

Would you please help me run these files? I suspect there is another version of HP1 that will run these input decks and produce the results shown in the paper.
