how to determine the "application time"

Hi,
I try to fit the Br- break through curve by STANMOD, and Br- was injected in a very short Pulse input manner, how can i determine the "application time" in STANMOD?
More detailed about my problem: 5 ml 0.1g/L NaBr was injected quickly in to a column (1.5m longth, innerdiameter 8cm ) ,the Darcy's velocity is 3.619m/d.

IF someone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
