hello

I have applied a certain concentration (g/l)of bromide to the field (duration time=0) ;

I am using inverse method of STANMOD

my question is:

do i have to use, diract delta input as a boundary condition ?

if yes, can someone help me how to calculate mass of direct delta pulse?

thanks a lot

Maha

## CXTFIT, boundary conditions

If you use a Dirac delta inlet condition, you needs to specify the input mass. Please look at p.7 and p.70 of the CXTFIT manual. Or you can specify a very small duration time t_0 for the pulse input. In this case, the input mass is equal to c_0 * t_0. If any further questions, please let me know. Nobuo

do i well understand?

the mass of diract delta pulse is what i have to introduce (as an input for Stanmod-CXTFIT)which is the total of amount of mass added to a unit area of the soil liquid phase (page 7 manual).

So if i have applied 1mm of water with a concentration of 70g/l of bromide , so my mass is équal to 70*0.01gdm-2

thanks again
