Hysteresis and Scale factor

Hi Jirka,
When using the hysteresis the HYDRUS manual says that scanning curves are derived from scaling factor. In graphical interface there is a scaling factor for water content, pressure, and saturated hydraulic conductivity; however, as far as I have understood, this scaling factor is a way to integrate the spatial heterogeneity of these variables. I wanted to make sure I have understood it correctly, and in addition to specifying hysteresis parameters under soil hydraulic tab, I do not need to specify any other conditions in any other tabs, is it right?
Thank you for your response.
