Modeling Air flow in Subsurface from well pressure data with Hydrus 1-D

Post by cheyfs » Mon Feb 22, 2021 6:12 pm

Hello,

I have some time vs. pressure data from some observation wells and was wondering if Hydrus 1-D can be used to model the pneumatic air flow of the soil near/surrounding the wells? I know that Hydrus 1-D is primarily for water and solute transport, but was wondering if pneumatic flow could be modeled using the program as well? If anyone has any idea or has even tried before and has any tips, I would be grateful.

Thank you
