I have divided my soil profile in subregions and wish to calculate the cumulative root water uptake per subregion.
However, the A and T level output files only give the cumulative root water uptake for the entire profile.
And the balance output file does not specify the root water uptake it (I suppose) uses to calculate the change in mass balance.
Is it possible to get A_level information about the cumulative root water uptake per subregion?

No. HYDRUS does not keep track of that. Such option would need to be newly coded. You could get actual uptake from different subregions for a particular print time if you integrate the sink term in the Nod_inf.out file. J.
