INPUT DATA - TYPE= 7,8,9,10,11

Post by Gercica Macêdo » Thu Sep 19, 2019 12:24 pm

For the input data item, data for inverse solution, about definition of the objective function.

For Types = 7 (Prior knowledge of the parameter alpha), 8 (Prior knowledge of the parameter n), 9 (Prior knowledge of the parameter theta r), 10 (Prior knowledge of the parameter theta s) and 11 (Prior knowledge of the parameter Ks), what will be the input variables of X and Y?

In Hydrus 1D Help indicates that X = dummy parameter for Type = 7,8,9,10,11 and Y = observation data. What would be examples of these values?

Thank you for your help.

As indicated in your post. X is a dummy parameter (i.e., it is ignored what is written there. The Y parameter then is the value of a particular parameter. You can get examples of these values for different textural classes from the soil catalog. J.
