Modeling Groundwater flow in Unsaturated zone

Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum as well as Hydrus 1D.
I am trying to model groundwater flow in unsaturated conditions. Actually most of my area is covered with vegetation, so I want to consider the effect of vegetation in model.
Basically, I have a rough idea about the types of vegetation in the area and based on that I have divided this into 5 different zones. I want to assign evapotranspiration values for each zone based on major vegetation type.
How can I calculate evapotranspiration for that ?

Once these values are calculated, is it possible to assign different parameters for spatially different zones

I have no idea why this question is in the HYDRUS-1D discussion forum. In HYDRUS-1D, you clearly can consider only one vegetation type at a time, as it is a 1D model. You should be able to use Penman-Montheith equation to get the reference ET, then use the crop coefficient to get the potential ET. Finally, you should divide potential ET into potential E and potential T using LAI. J.
