hCritA Calculation

Post by serhattonkul » Wed Aug 02, 2017 1:18 pm

i want to do infiltration simulation of a field that take places sandy clay, clay, silt units. I have temperature (K) and relative humidity values.

I am using the formula Hr = exp[h*M*g/RT] to calculate hCritA, where h is hCritA. The Hydrus technical manual says 'The hCritA value is specified in the range of -150 m to -1000 m'. I found hCritA values such as -3261.09, -4727.49 etc in excel calculation. Are these values wrong? Should i use -150 m?

Excel calculation is attached.

Thanks for helping.
