Hello HYDRUS community,
I’m working with a soil CO2 flux model and have encountered an issue with my mean CO2 concentration in the root zone (cRoot). Despite having non-zero values for cTop (CO2 concentration at the soil surface) and cBot (CO2 concentration at the bottom of the soil profile), my cRoot values remain zero throughout the time steps.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? What could be causing the cRoot to remain zero? Are there specific factors in HYDRUS that I might be missing related to fluxes, concentration calculations, or the CO2 production in the root zone?
I would appreciate any advice on what to check or how to troubleshoot this further.
Thank you!
Asha
cRoot values appears to be zero while cTop and cBot are non-zero
