Two-site sorption model without flux and diffusion

Hello,

I tried to use the 1D two-site soption model with no velocities, diffusions and reaction terms. Thus I have no transport between the nodes and only (de)sorption processes.

In my Nod_Inf.out file I can see that the (kinetically) sorbed concentration changes over time. I do not understand why the dissolved concentration stays constant over time (see in the appendix). Does the system follow mass conservation?

Of course, HYDRUS keep the mass conservation. You might have noticed that your liquid phase (0.03200) and kinetic (0.005300) concentrations are on different orders. Changes in the latter, also depending on ro, theta, and frac, do not have to change significantly the former. J.
