Results - Other information (Boundary Fluxes)

Hi - I have recently looked at the subsurface emitter tutorial problem (ToddSkag.h3d). Under the input settings in Time Varying Boundary Conditions, the value specified for Var FL1 is -6.366 cm/hr. When I check on the Results - Other information after running the project, the Variable Flux 1 is given in units of cm2/hour and is about ~21cm2/hr. Appreciate if someone could shed some light on how this conversion has taken place. Thanks.

It is multiplied by the length of the boundary, on which the Var.Fl1 is applied. Input time-variable flux is given in units of [L/T], the boundary length in [L], and the output flux (which is reported for the entire boundary) in [L2/T]. J.
