Actually I am modelling a reservoir rise up and drawdown condition on the upstream face of the embankment. I have applied variable pressure head as boundary condition but although the water level increases during rise up condition not much change in total stress is observed at the lowest node of upstream face. It should have accounted the load of water above the upstream face . Is there an option to apply hydrostatic pressure boundary condition in slope cube module like sigma w of geostudio or is there any other way I need to do in order to get correct results of total stress in hydrus .
