Export of the seepage line / phreatic line

Hi,
I am currently working with dike models and rainfall infiltration. To run 'classic' stability analysis (e.g. BISHOP), I need information about the seepage line (or phreatic line if you prefer this term). Is there an easy way to export this specific information from the Hydrus results/output? E.g. as x/z coordinmates in a 2D-model?
So far I define a number of observation points along the x-axes -> export pressure heads -> calculate seepage line based on coordinates and pressure heads. Doing this manually is quite time consuming and I am only defining a limited amount of observation points...is there a better/faster way to get the wanted information?

Best regards
Frieder

There is an easy way to export x-z coordinates of isolines.
1. First, you need to switch the View to display Isolines: Options->Scalar Field Display->Isolines
2. Then, you use the command Export Isolines (File->Export->Export Isolines).
The program than creates a text file "Project_Name_Isolines.txt". Here is an example of one isolines:

; Program : HYDRUS 3.02
; File Version : 1
;-----------------------------------
; Isoline 1, Value=0.800, Segment 1
;-----------------------------------
; Columns:
; C1 = x-coordinate [m]
; C2 = z-coordinate [m]
;-----C1------|-----C2------|

5.13205e-002 5.13205e-002
4.85191e-002 4.85191e-002
4.18113e-002 4.18113e-002
4.13793e-002 4.13793e-002

3.50000e-002 3.50000e-002

3.19947e-003 3.19947e-003

You need to choose the one you need. You can also, before exporting isolines, redefine which isolines are displayed.

Dear Jirka,
thanks for the fast reply. I missed that function before...

But there seems to be an issue with the export (or I am doing it wrong). Similar to your given example, there is never a difference between the x- and z-coordinate. I believe, only the x-coordinate is displayed. I tried displaying different isolines as well as times and also models (including Hydrus examples) - they all always show the same value for x- and z-coordinate.

There indeed was a bug. We have fixed it and the new installation (Hydrus3D_3.02.0690_x64.exe) is available in ELIS.
