Modeling an infiltration well

Post by Eliane Justino » Wed Apr 10, 2019 2:59 pm

Hello,
I am modeling an infiltration well, and this well is 1m high and remains full for 24 hours.
I considered 2D - Axisymetrical Vertical Flow, but I have already used all possible contour conditions, keeping the well walls as Variable Head 1.
The model does not converge and gives error.
Please, if anyone can help me.

The code is attached.

Thanks

There are a couple of problems with your project. The main one is that you cannot have negative x coordinates in the axisymmetrical problem. The center of symmetry is x=0. You also likely want to have finer discretization around the well.
