I'm using HYDRUS 2D and have some troubles.
I want to know how can I generate random scaling factor by using matlab command to run this part of HYDRUS.
Because I want to couple the HYDRUS with other model,so I want to input the standard dev,correlation length into matlab ,then run HYDRUS to generate the scaling factor.Could you please tell me can it to be worked?

The stochastic scaling factors are generated by a routine in the HYDRUS GUI and thus you cannot generate them similarly as you can run the computational module using the MatLab command. However, you can write your own generator in MatLab and write generated scaling factor into the HYDRUS input file Domain.dat. This text file is read if the binary file Domain.in (with the same information) is not present. J.
