Dear All,
I have gone through the inverse solution process in Hydrus and I have a question regarding the term "position" there. I have volumetric water content readings at two specific locations based on my field reading. Based on Hydrus, I see that my type will be "2" but I am unable to understand the "position" term in Hydrus. In the manual, it says that the position for my situation will be "observation node number". I have readings for 3 days at two observation points so I guess, I have to make 2x3 rows of data and give my field readings. My query was how will Hydrus understand that for which node will it assign the first 3 rows of data and the other node for the second 3 rows of data. My assumption is the lowest assigned numbered node will be for the first 3 rows but I am unsure. If everything I assumed is right, then I plan to give the input data as below. I will be very grateful if you please guide me if my assumption and my format below for giving the data are right

See the Cone project that is distributed with the HYDRUS (2D/3D) installation. In this project there are pressure head measurements at two locations. After that it should then be clear how to do this. J.

I have installed the Hydrus 2D/3D and opened the cone project with the inverse solution. I understood what I have to do but I have a query. I saw that the project has 5 observation nodes but the inverse solution data has input data for two nodes. I assumed that Position 2 is for Observation Node 2 and Position 1 for Observation Node 1. Is it right? Can I give data for Observation Node 1 before Observation Node 2?
