Root uptake models in HYDRUS 3D

I am modelling soil moisture flow in unsaturated zone with crop. The root uptake I want to use is non-linear, but this model is not available in HYDRUS 1D. I want to know whether HYDRUS-2D/3D is capable of incorporating any other root-uptake models other than Feddes and S-Shaped? Kindly reply.

Currently, only Feddes and S-Shape models are used to describe the stress response functions for the water stress in the root water uptake model of both HYDRUS-1D and HYDRUS (2D/3D). However, it would not be particularly difficult to incorporate other models. If you have a license for HYDRUS (2D/3D), we would consider incorporating another model for you. J.
