I have a model with constant heads at the top and bottom of my domain (designing unsaturated flow columns), and I would like to look at the plot of flux across each boundary with time. It appears that Hydrus adds these two values together to give what is essentially a storage change plot. Is there any way to view these boundary fluxes individually? Thanks.
Yes, that is correct, that’s what Hydrus does (integrates fluxes across boundaries with the same type BC). If you want to separate these fluxes, you should either assign different types of BCs (e.g., constant head and time-variable head (you can keep the pressure head constant) or use the Meshlines (for which Hydrus calculates fluxes as well).
