Maximum concentration of nitrate in the sink term

Post by ebrahimian » Thu Dec 16, 2010 3:23 pm

Dear Jirka

I saw your paper (Hanson et al., 2006) that was done for simulating drip fertigation for tomato and grape. That is nice paper especially is the guide for the parameters of nitrate, ammonium and urea fertilizers. I want to know what was the value of maximum concentration of nitrate in the sink term (cRoot) in your simulations? I have not seen it in the paper.

Thanks in advance
Hamed

Hamed,

the cRoot was selected such, so that all nitrigen species could be taken up passibly without any constraints. I.e., cRoot was larger than expected liquid concentrations (10).
