Hi,
I'm eager to know how can I simulate the water vapor flow in 3D with Hydrus 3D. An option for this is available in the 1D version but I can not find it in the 3D one.
Thanks,
Mohammad

Re: Insufficient Memory error
Mirek, Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to simulate a simple 3D heterogeneous soil column. To account for heterogeneity I need the nodal points which represent the materials, to be as close to each other as possible (say .05 cm or even less) and that's why the number of mesh elements becomes dramat...

Insufficient Memory error
Hi, I'm trying to simulate a soil column with very fine mesh grids. When creating mesh elements a warning message says the number of element will be around 1,150,000 and after confirmation a low memory on computer is displayed after a while. I'd like to know how can I increase the total memory amoun...

Re: importing 3D geometry via *.dxf issue
Mirek,
You are right and my fault. When I change the domain geometry to 3D-General, the curved surface tool becomes active. My Hydrus version is 3D-Professional with license number 2103.
Thanks for your help

Re: importing 3D geometry via *.dxf issue
Mirek,
Thanks for your response. Now I can import my domain as splines, lines and points. But trying to make curved surfaces on them the required tools are not active and I'm just able to make planar surfaces.

importing 3D geometry via *.dxf issue
Hi, I'm new to Hydrus 3D and want to import a rather simple 3D model in *.dxf format created in AutoCad or SolidWorks but I was not successful in both. I'd like to know what kind of characteristic the 3D model should have to be able to be recognized by Hydrus (see the attached file for instance). Co...
