You get cumulative soil evaporative fluxes in the T_Level.out file (parameter name: sum(Evap)).

Thank you, Jirka. I noted the issue now. It is not related to input from the snowmelt model, which seems working fine. I found the issue was related to evaporative water loss from the model under snow covered conditions.

Thanks Jirka. I also noted that (through Hydrus-1D simulation) vapor flow has only minor impact on my results. In any case, the increase in theta is related to snowmelt timing at my site.
