### Re: how to check whether the underdrain size works or not for a constant inflow?

Although you specified (circular) drain pipes with a diameter of 0.2 m, your FE discretization is so course, that you end up with squared drain pipes (four nodes on the circle is in fact a square). If you indeed want to have a circular pipes, you will have to use Mesh Refinement on Pipe Surfaces. Y...

### Re: Wrong output concentration

It is impossible that HYDRUS-1D would start calculations with different initial concentrations in the liquid phase that those specified, unless you used the option to specify the initial conditions in terms of Total Concentrations, rather than in Liquid Phase Concentrations. In such case, HYDRUS-1D...

### Re: Wrong output concentration

Hello, friend. I have met the same problem, the mass unit I set was gram, while the length unit was meter. The initial concentration for COD was set as 52 [-]. But the result time series started from 2000 g/m3. Could you share the solution with this problem please? Thanks in advance.

### how to check whether the underdrain size works or not for a constant inflow?

I am trying to simulate the soil media hydrodynamics with underdrain on the bottom layer. Here is the real case. three different soil media and underdrain on the bottom layer which was designed to drain the water from the infiltration. My objective is to size the underdrain pipe. Here is what I did ...

### Re: Fail on generating mesh

Yes, I am not doing the tunnel. Just want to have the cavity and generate the mesh correctly.

Thanks much for your suggestion. I will try on that and see what happens.

### Re: Fail on generating mesh

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the error message is what I got previously due to the intersection between one solid and its cavity. Do you know how to solve it? Is it possible to truncate the cavity solid through the outside solid in order to make sure the cavity solid is exactly inside the solid?

### Re: Fail on generating mesh

Hello, friend. I got the same problem recently. My hydrus version is 2.05 which is new enough to avoid this bug, but it still happened. I wonder if you solved your problem or not. Hopefully could help me with that. I attached my model here
