Thanks ! In some paper I read that both pressure difference between top and bottom of the column and the column should be consider. In my case, columns are vertically, thus dh/L =1 (dh= difference in height thus in pressure and L column length). Is that i ?

Dear Jirka,

I would like to know if Ks, the hydraulic conductivity should be define d from the mean pore wter velocity (fittedwith tracer) or from experimental value. Up to know I set Ks= 0.35 mL/min because this is the outflow I measured from my column but I have some doubt about it.

Dear Jirka, From the different tutorials you provided I understood that to model retention of NP on soil column from effluent concentration data we should provide a Kd=0, eta=0 and beta=1, then play with the ipsi1 and 2 value. However playing with these parameters I never managed to have r^2 better ...

Hi,

I tried to predict longitudinal dispersitvity for KBr as a non reactive tracer in a soil column,. As reading this topic, I realized I didn't set any diameter for the column. Where should I set this value ?

I was also wondering if the Diffusion in water was coumpounds specific.

In other world, in the nanotubes transport examples, you are using constant pressure head as initial condition but the article only referred to steady state water flow. Thus, I don't understand ...

I am using Hydrus 1D inverse data simulation to fit nanoparticles transport in an artificial soil column (L 3,8 cm, diam=2,4 cm) under saturated flow.
