Re: Poor solute balance

That is wonderful! Can you please send the program back by email with the changes you made? This has been driving me nuts for 2 weeks...

Re: Poor solute balance

Sorry I did not make myself clear. Both models use the 2D General Geometry for mesh. So I know something else is causing the differences in solute balance. I was hoping you might be able to take a look at the 2 models (sent by email) and make suggestions. Thanks so much.

Poor solute balance

I am working on a hillslope model of Cl movement from a septic system to a lake at the bottom of the slope. Input concentrations of Cl are 40. With a simplified geometry (a parallelogram, Model 56) the water and Cl balance is very good. But with more detailed geometry, the solute balance is poor wit...

Selecting nodes for discharge using mesh

Using Version 2.05.0270, I'm having trouble selecting nodes for Nodal Discharge when I am editing properties on the mesh. If I zoom in beyond the extent of the model, the nodes (yellow boxes) do not pop up when I move the square over the mesh node. Even when I don't zoom in, some nodes close to othe...

Sorry, just figured out that "rar" is a compressed folder.

Re: nodal discharge solute

Should I change the extension from "rar" to "h3d"?

Re: nodal discharge solute

Patagonia!! Last time I sent you a question you on the beach in Portugal (with your computer).

I tried cwell but that did not do the trick. I set up a really simple model to test it. Not sure if there is a way for me to send it to you (in Patagonia or wherever).

nodal discharge solute

I am trying to figure out how to assign a solute concentration to a nodal discharge point. The help file seems to say that it would go in cvalue3, but that does not do it. I have a constant solute concentration, I'm doing a N chain model, and the nodes represent ammonium concentrations in a septic s...

Re: Walker equation and nitrification

Oops, when I use a negative exponent I get an error:

"Floating Point Error! Calculation unstable.
Please check out input data..."

Walker equation and nitrification

I am working on a nitrogen chain model. I am using the Walker equation for water content dependence for denitrification (ramps up as water content approaches saturation). I would like to use the Walker equation for nitrification. Is there a way to manipulate the equation parameters so that it ramps ...

Video with Windows 10

I'm running Windows 10 and when I try to make and animation, depending on which type of video I choose, I get one of the following messages that says Can't play. This item was encoded in a format that's not supported. or Can't play. Something went wrong. Try restarting the app, etc. Anyone else have...
