Jirka Simunek will be giving a one-day HYDRUS workshop [an introduction to HYDRUS-1D and HYDRUS (2D/3D) ] on October 13 2017 at the North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. The workshop (open to public) is organized by Prof. Gary Fox (gafox2@ncsu.edu) who can provide more details to those who are interested in participating.

We would like to invite you to submit manuscripts for a Special issue on HYDRUS Applications to Subsurface Flow and Contaminant Transport Problems that will be published in Journal of Hydrology and Hydromechanics (IF=1.67). Although the special issue is organized mainly for contributions presented at the 5th International Hydrus Conference which was held in Prague in March 2017, others are also invited to contribute their papers. You should submit the papers by email to the editor of the journal Dr. Lubomir Lichner and cc to Prof. Jiri Simunek. (The deadline for submission is July 31 2017.)
