Here you can download the latest Hydrus-2D installation and several previous versions. Please note that distribution of Hydrus-2D was terminated in 2006 and this product has been replaced by new HYDRUS (2D/3D).

Installation Instructions:
Download a self-extracting archive (for example H2D_2103_Full.exe) and run it. Extract setup files to a temporary directory. Go to this directory and run "setup.exe", which will install Hydrus-2D on your computer.

Version 2.103 (06.01.2007)
- Fixed problem in authorization for computers that generate unstable user code 2.
Version 2.102 (07.05.2004)
- Fix: In the Graphics module the "export all" option exported the selected quantity (e.g. pressure head or concentration) for the selected print time but could export other quantities for the final print time for the simulation. Now all quantities are exported for the selected print time (if it is possible).
- Fix: In the Graphics module the command "Options / Scale Values / User-defined" didn't work correctly and default values were used instead of values defined in the file.
Version 2.101 (14.12.2003)
- New support of network licensing. Hydrus-2D can now be installed on a network drive; activation is required only on one client computer and server. This version supports both single-user and network licensing.

- A new system of program licensing. Authorization is associated now with a given computer.

- Spatial distribution of the root water uptake function is based on the manuscript:++Vrugt, J. A., J. W. Hopmans, and J. Simunek, Calibration of a two-dimensional root water uptake model for a sprinkler-irrigated almond tree, Soil Sci. Soc. Am. J., 65(4), 1027-1037, 2001.
- Random generation of scaling factors. This was improved with input from Wolfgang Durner. One can now generate both normally and lognormally distributed scaling factors.
- Length of the string describing the path to projects has been increased to 100.
- The code calculates the surface runoff, evaporation and infiltration parts of the mass balance, both actual and cumulative, and prints results to v_mean.out and CumQ.out file. This information is not displayed in the graphical interface.
- The graphical interface displays all atmospheric (i.e., precipitation, evaporation, transpiration) and non-atmospheric fluxes in one figure.
- We fixed the solute chain reactions for nonlinear sorption.
- The code now allows a negative slope of the base of the domain when using the internal generator.
- The maximum number of print times was increased to 5000.
- The submodule Rosetta was updated based on the latest calibration.

- Fixed a problem in module Graphics, 1D-Graph dialogs. After graph data export to a directory different than the HYDRUS installation directory the 1D-Graph dialog didn't appear anymore. It was necessary to restart Hydrus-2D to make the 1D-Graph work again.
